* Based in Manchester but Hybrid working (typically 3-days in the office, 2-days working from home per week) although opportunities across the UK are also available - depending on your situation

An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Manager to join their busy and expanding Water / Utilities Infrastructure projects team.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders involved in projects.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Contract Administration:
* Manage and administer a variety of contracts, ensuring adherence to project objectives, governance frameworks, and best practices.
* Implement contract change management processes effectively to keep projects on track.
Cost Management:
* Monitor, forecast, and report project costs accurately to completion, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
* Proactively identify and manage cost variances and maintain contract cash flow integrity.
* Prepare and submit applications and valuations in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* You will be working as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager ideally for a Construction Consultancy, Contractor or working directly for the client focussing on projects in the Infrastructure sector (Utilities/ Water).
* Demonstrated expertise in contract management, ideally with experience in NEC3 - must have experience administering the contract.
* Proficient in cost management, valuation, change management, and cash flow forecasting.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry, including procurement routes and technical considerations.
