Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to students
* Assess and monitor students' progress in physical activities
* Organise and supervise sports events and competitions
* Promote physical fitness and overall well-being among students
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school's physical education curriculum
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialism in Physical Education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Physical Education
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Physical Education
* Experience working with children and young adults
Knowledge and Skills:
* Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for Physical Education
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional coaching qualifications in sports such as football, basketball, or athletics
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Work predominantly within a school setting
* Regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
* Potential involvement in extracurricular activities and sports clubs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
