Legion Workforce Management (WFM) Functional Specialist

Role Overview:
Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced Legion Workforce Management (WFM) Functional Specialist with expertise in Legion WFM implementation, configuration, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, HR, payroll, and IT teams to design and implement efficient workforce management solutions using Legion's AI-driven scheduling, time & attendance, and labor optimization capabilities. This role requires strong functional knowledge of workforce planning, scheduling automation, labor forecasting, compliance, and integration with payroll and HRIS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Legion WFM Implementation & Configuration:
Lead end-to-end implementation of Legion WFM across multiple business units. Configure Legion AI-driven scheduling, time & attendance, and labor optimization. Define and optimize business rules for workforce planning, compliance, and labor laws. Customize Legion forecasting models, demand-driven scheduling, and automation workflows. Ensure seamless integration with HR, payroll, and ERP systems.
2. Functional & Process Optimization:
Work with HR, payroll, and operations teams to identify workforce efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and fair scheduling practices. Optimize workforce budgeting, demand forecasting, shift assignments, and real-time tracking. Improve self-service capabilities for managers and employees via Legion Mobile & Web. Conduct UAT, training, and change management for Legion rollout.
3. Integration & Technical Support:
Support integration between Legion WFM and payroll, HRIS, ERP, and time tracking systems. Troubleshoot Legion API connections, SFTP data transfers, and payroll exports. Collaborate with IT teams to optimize system performance and reporting. Develop custom reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
4. Training & Support:
Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support. Conduct workshops and knowledge transfer for HR, payroll, and operations teams. Manage post-go-live stabilization, enhancements, and system maintenance.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
1. Legion WFM Expertise:
Hands-on experience with Legion WFM (Workforce Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Forecasting). Strong understanding of AI-driven workforce scheduling, shift optimization, and compliance rules. Experience in Legion integrations with payroll & HRIS (Workday, UKG, SAP, ADP, Oracle, etc.). Ability to configure Legion labor demand forecasting, cost control, and compliance parameters. Expertise in workforce analytics, reporting, and real-time tracking tools.
2. Skills:
Strong understanding of workforce scheduling, payroll processing, and compliance. Experience with HR, payroll, and labor law compliance in different geographies. Proficiency in Legion API, integrations, and payroll exports. Experience with enterprise WFM solutions like UKG, Workday, ADP, or SAP SuccessFactors is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
3. Soft Skills:
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and client-facing skills. Ability to lead requirement workshops and drive business process improvements. Strong analytical, documentation, and project management skills.
