Wood, a global leader in consulting, engineering, and project management, is seeking a talented Senior Electrical Designer to join our established engineering and design team.
The Role
As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will report directly to the Lead Engineer and shall be responsible for executing electrical engineering activities (Front End Engineering Development & Detailed Design).

Key Responsibilities:
* Self-starter with the ability to produce electrical deliverables with little input or guidance
* Good understanding of applicable international codes and standards and their application
* High level of competency in Micro-station, AutoCAD 2D, and E3D software
* Experience delivering Substation design, Cable routing, Area classification layouts, Cable and MTO Schedules, Standard installation details, Lighting and earthing philosophies and layouts
* Strong understanding of plant design and equipment layout, coordinating with other discipline design groups for a cohesive plant design
* Liaising with other disciplines as required
Minimum Requirements:
* Ideally a HNC in Electrical Engineering
* A proven track record in the following project phases: FEED, Detailed Engineering (EPC)
* Computer literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly experienced in onshore site surveys and data gathering on brownfield projects
