My Stock Market listed PLC client is currently seeking a Trade Counter Assistant for their busy, thriving Branch located in Cambridge. Previous experience working on a busy Trade Counter is NOT necessary as they will provide a great deal of training for the right person. We are more focused on speaking to candidates with the following attributes: Cash Handling Experience Great levels of Customer Service Motivated and enthusiastic Customer Facing Experience – dealing with people face-to-face Good knowledge of IT A driving license is ESSENTIAL, as a part of the role may involve delivering customers goods locally. An FLT License would be beneficial, however not essential. As specialists within their sector, they have a Trade Counter Network of around 250 branches and have experienced a huge amount of growth in recent years. They are extremely keen on promoting from within and there is a great deal of scope with this position to advance through the business to Supervisor, Branch Manager and beyond Day to Day Duties will include: Supporting the Supervisor and Branch Manager in achieving sales targets for the Trade Counter. Route planning, safe driving and keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy. Picking and loading products ready for delivery. Provide excellent levels of Customer Service whilst supporting new and existing customers. Maintaining Branch standards in line with Health & Safety. Stock management, Warehousing duties as well as front of house operations.
