We are looking for passionate and experienced Maths Tutors with a proven track record of success in teaching students at GCSE level. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans, assessing student learning, and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.
Job details:
Subject and Level: GCSE Maths
Days and Times: Thursdays 3pm-4.30pm
Pay: £30 p/h
Contract Length: January 2025-May 2025
Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
* Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.
* Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these.
* Monitoring student progress and producing reports.
* Creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in.
* Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Bachelor's degree
* 1+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
* Ability to work with students of all abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Right to be self employed in the UK
