Location: Fleet with some flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once probation is passed

About the Role: The successful candidate will be protecting the company from fraud and will carry out broker reviews, handle broker panel queries, and monitor broker quality by reviewing declined and cancelled rates. You will monitor the broker panel and provide recommendations on whether brokers should be removed or reinstated to the panel. You will analyze all intelligence received by brokers to protect the business and help to protect the Company from the risk of fraud by using anti-fraud systems such as Hunter, CIFAS, and SIRA to investigate and act upon information received in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
* To action and maintain all information from lenders on Brokers, reporting correctly onto the SIRA system.
* To action and consider all broker appeals together with any broker panel queries from across the business.
* Develop and maintain co-operative relationships between all internal stakeholders and investigate all referrals in a professional manner.
* Work with fraud systems such as CIFAS, SIRA & Hunter to mitigate potential losses.
* To investigate all intelligence and take action accordingly.
* Carrying out Broker reviews, liaising with sales to arrange visits to the broker before the removal of a Broker and preparing a management report for Credit Committee.
* Reporting the removal decision in a professional manner to Broker Support, the Broker, FCA, and other Lenders.
* Prepare Management Reports, ensuring they are prepared in time for Exco or Credit Committee meetings.
* Analyze broker data to protect the business.
Experience required:
* Experience of working within the mortgage industry
* Experience in underwriting or packaging mortgage applications within a mortgage case management, packaging, or underwriting role.
* Proven ability to exercise good commercial and professional judgment.
* Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
* Good attention to detail
* Adaptive to ongoing change
* PC literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Office products
* Enthusiastic, flexible, and keen to learn and develop a career.
* Knowledge of Hunter, CIFAS & SIRA systems would be beneficial but not essential.
