An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, skilled and experienced Fleet Co-Ordinator to join the Street Scene Service as we continue to develop our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The post is based at our Depot at Castleford. What will be expected from me? We are looking for a dynamic self-motivated person with a drive for high achievement with excellent procurement and negotiation skills with a commitment to providing a high level of service. What I might be doing? The postholder will provide a business and procurement service to the Street Scene Service. The post will monitor the small plant replacement budget (circa £60k) and wheeled bin replacement budget (circa £169k). You will also assist with procurement and asset planning (circa £6m) for the service and ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved through all procurement activity and reporting of efficiencies to Corporate Procurement. Essential requirements: NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a related subject. 4 GCSE passes (grade A - C) including English and Maths. Current Full driving licence maximum 6 penalty points.To Include Cat B and E IOSH certificate in managing health and safety. What can I expect? This is a full-Time post of 37 hours per week.
