Job Title: Category Strategy & Planning Assistant Manager – Deodorants

About The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Assistant Manager to work in the Deodorants Strategy and Insight Team, supporting in the creation of the Category Growth Strategy and its execution across the globe.
JOB PURPOSE
* Co-create & implement omnichannel plans that unlock profitable & sustainable category growth, benefiting shoppers, our customers, Unilever, and the planet.
* Category and Shopper focused experts with deep category knowledge, across all channels. We want to make Unilever Personal Care the #1 partner of choice for our key customers.
* Collaborate closely with our Category Strategy & Planning / Category Management, Shopper Marketing and CMI to deploy cutting-edge Category Growth Management and Shopper Marketing tools and capabilities to better serve our customers & shoppers.
* Bring the voice of the retailer and shopper internally and partner functional experts such as Marketing, Research and Development, Insights, Technology, Net Revenue Management to unlock category growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Category Strategy and Insight Lead:
* Tracking roll-out and business impact of category management tools and piloting next generation tools.
* Deploy Unmissable Point of Sale programme to ensure ammunition is fit for customers and channels, right first time.
Lead community of practice, to Share Personal Care Strategy & Insights and best practice with teams across the globe.
* Provide insights and guidance to marketing and innovations teams, in-line with category growth opportunities.
* Analyse category performance from multiple sources and compiling trends and forecasts to form the foundation of the Customer Category Growth Strategy.
ALL ABOUT YOU
Experience
* Mandatory: Experienced in collaborating with customers – be that retailers or Business Units or markets.
* Preferred: Category Growth Management & Shopper Marketing experience in Country.
* Prior experience in a Customer Business Development role in country and experience in global or regional roles is a plus.

* Effective communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships; comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently; strong proficiency in time management and organizational skills; Collaborative team player who thrives in a cooperative environment; proficient in using Power Point and Excel.
