You will be joining a very secure and expanding business, where you will enjoy a varied workload, a great team culture and an exciting new career move.\n\nIf you are electrically biased Maintenance Technician, please apply now.\n\nThe Job You’ll Do;\n\n * Ensure equipment is set up ready for shift start and lines are shut down correctly.\n\n * KPI’s to be reviewed every shift to maintain focus on delivery and cost.\n\n * Consistent reporting of all activities including breakdown repair.\n\n * Carry out RCAs for repetitive breakdowns.\n\n * Understanding of health & safety rules and regulations.\n\n * To assist in initiatives and proactive working to keep site waste low\n\n * To review and allocate the workload between the other Engineer’s on shift.\n\n * To liaise with Shift managers to be proactive to the production plan, issues that arise and gaining access to machines.\n\n * To make best placed decisions based on information, tools available and discussed between Operations and engineering teams.\n\n * Daily downtime sheets/ filling in shift or downtime book/ Maintenance records.\n\n * Correctly completed history in Maintenance system, and engineering shift report.\n\n * Input into production tracker to be reviewed to align with actual DT problems and timings.\n\nAbout You;\n\n * Apprenticeship / Technical background Electrical/Mechanical – Level 3 NVQ or equivalent\n\n * Experience of PLC, HMI Scada controlled systems (desirable).\n\n * Ability to communicate to others in department and cross departments.\n\n * Self-motivated\n\n * Conscientious, with attention to detail\n\n * Organisational skills\n\n * Strong Technical aptitude
