Area to be covered: North & Scotland
Remuneration: £58,000-£62,000 Neg. + up to 30% Bonus

The role of the Regional Sales Manager Lightweight Steel Frame Structures will involve:
1. Field sales position selling the design and manufacture of a lightweight steel frame structure (pre-panelised, structural load-bearing framing system).
2. Selling our clients complete lightweight steel super structure (lightweight steel structure method of construction).
3. Up to 40% of the role stimulating demand and influencing architects, structural engineers and main contractors/ D&B contractors (estimating teams/ design managers etc.).
4. Majority of time leading a team of a technical manager, design manager, operations director, internal sales etc. in supporting our clients three licenced installer/ contractors with ongoing projects.
5. Typically targeting the high-rise residential, student accommodation and hotels.
6. Typical project sizes £350,000 (150 tonnes of steel), projects from 20 weeks to 2 years.
7. Opportunity only available due to upcoming retirement mid 2025.
8. Inheriting an area achieving circa £4m.
9. Conducting CPDs with architects and structural engineers.
10. Technical/ design meetings with main contractors, structural engineers & architects and housing developers.
11. Following up Glenigan leads, proactively looking for new opportunities and new markets for the lightweight steel frame structure (up to 15 stories).
The ideal applicant will be a Regional Sales Manager Lightweight Steel Frame Structures with:
1. Must understand volumetric structural systems such as pre-cast concrete, timber frame, façade systems, modular/ off site systems etc.
2. Ability to fulfil hybrid role of business development alongside managing a team of a technical manager, design manager, operations director, internal sales etc.
3. Comfortable with MMC and off-site construction.
4. Construction industry field sales experience is essential.
5. Commercially astute.
6. Ideally sold structural technical products into main contractors, structural engineers or architects.
7. Specific knowledge of pre-panelised, structural load-bearing framing systems or lightweight steel structure method of construction not essential.
8. Ability to arrange CPD seminars with architects, housing developers, housing associations & main contractors.
9. Engineering background preferred, understands construction physics.
10. Project tracking skills.
