Total Care Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Band 3 Adult Support Worker in Adult Day Care in the Belfast area. These are temporary block bookings for a minimum of 3-6 months. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm. Principal Accountabilities Actively support the people we work with to experience life opportunities that promote maximizing potential and fulfilling their dreams. Enable community presence and participation as desired by the individual being supported Ensure the people we work with are supported to access person- led chosen activities and opportunities which result in measurable outcomes and achievements for the individual Assist in designing individualized programme of leisure, education and social opportunities Comply with guidelines in developing, designing, implementing and reviewing individualized support and care plans Support and Care: Provide personal assistance with primary needs i.e toileting, feeding, bathing, showering Maintain regular and appropriate records and reports as directed, eg incident reports. Facilitate and enable service users to participate in activities Provide required support to the individual with which ensures the maintenance of an environment which is as safe and hygienic as possible and appropriate to their needs Participate in all meetings as required and make a positive contribution to them.
