The Job Role:
Our client are specialist safety equipment manufacturers who are leaders in their field, and have a thriving, and growing business here in Sheffield. Due to recent changes and growth within the company, we have an immediate requirement available for a Senior Administrative Assistant who has experience working within sales administration and accounts.
This will be a fast-paced and wide-varied role, where the successful candidate will be required to roll their sleeves up, and work collaboratively with the team. The company are small, but growing quickly, so we would love to hear from candidates who have experience ideally working within a small, and dynamic team, but also passionate about helping the business to drive forward and reach its goals.
This varied role will include the following roles and responsibilities; - Overseeing account administration – Providing the sales and logistics teams with administrative support – Sales Administration duties including preparing import and export documentation – Assisting the team with the arrangement of deliveries - Working collaboratively with the team to ensure orders are placed on-time – Assisting with ordering stock – Occasional help within the warehouse to unload large deliveries – Supporting the finance function of the business including basic Bookkeeping including sales and purchase ledger, making payments and occasional credit control – Ensuring all payments are scheduled– Updating systems including Sage, ChargeBee and Excel – Other administrative support as required
We would love to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience; - Senior level administrative experience – Experience of preparing import and export documentation would be advantageous – Experience working within logistics would be beneficial – Confident using IT including the full suite of MS Office, particularly Excel, SAGE and ChargeBee – Physically able to lift up to 25kg for occasional help within the warehouse – Basic Bookkeeping experience – Confidence in handling a busy, ever changing workload – Friendly and happy to work within a small team – Excellent time-keeping – Professional
