This is an important supporting technical role within Katoni as an EPC provider to the Oil & Gas industry. Located in Aberdeen and reporting to the Head of Process, as a key team member you will work closely with the Process team and other discipline team members in supporting the timely and accurate submission of proposals and project deliverables to clients.
You’ll work under the guidance and supervision of the Lead Process Engineer and Senior Process Engineers in the preparation and checking of Engineering deliverables and proposals to ensure a high-quality product is delivered to the client.
You are to ensure work is executed in accordance with Katoni’s project execution plan and policies for Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental protection. A commitment to engagement and use of our Integrated Management System will be vital in this role as will your willingness to develop and think commercially.
The core of the role
In the role you will want to deliver the following:
1. Ownership of Process technical output to ensure resolution for clients.
2. Work in accordance with and improve Katoni’s integrated management system.
3. Increased personal and corporate knowledge of current and new legislative requirements.
4. Preparation and checking of design/engineering documentation.
5. Preparation and checking of proposals.
6. Work in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards, and Procedures.
7. Interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered.
8. Be fully aware of team and personal workload in order to plan, organize, and prioritize work to ensure all engineering deliverable submission/issue dates are met.
9. Read, understand and ensure application of project specifications, national and international standards in the preparation and revision of clear and accurate engineering calculations, drawings, and other documentation.
10. Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.

Qualifications and experience
1. Chemical Engineering degree.
2. You’ll have a minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
3. Good communicator both in written and verbal situations.
4. Computer literate in Microsoft packages and relevant engineering software packages.
5. Ability to demonstrate you can learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
