Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2025, TTO + 5 INSET DAYS
Hours: 30 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Callicroft Primary Academy is looking to appoint an adaptable, flexible, and resourceful Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and friendly learning support team on a fixed-term basis until 31/08/2025. Hours for this role are 30 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday, the working pattern is to be agreed. The successful candidate will work term time only plus 5 INSET days, totaling 39 weeks per year.
This role includes supporting the academic progress of our students, including those with additional needs who are identified as disadvantaged. The responsibilities include:
1. Offering emotional and practical support to parents, pupils, and families.
2. Offering a whole family approach to families with complex needs.
3. Building trusting relationships with parents and pupils to help support their needs.
4. Working alongside colleagues to assess the needs of the families referred for support and lead the reviews and evaluation of the support.

All candidates must have a good standard of general education, to include Maths and English at GCSE level "C" or above or equivalent qualification, good interpersonal skills with both adults and children, and NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or other relevant experience and qualification.
