The Role:
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring compliance across local sites while promoting a strong health and safety culture. With the freedom to manage your own diary, you’ll have autonomy in your role and the opportunity to make a real impact within a growing division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Develop and implement site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
* Provide training, guidance, and support to site teams on health and safety matters.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Promote a proactive health and safety culture across all levels of the business.
* Collaborate with site teams and senior management to drive continuous improvements in health and safety performance.

Requirements:
* Previous experience in a health and safety role, ideally within civil engineering, groundworks, or construction.
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
* Full UK driving licence.
