Robert Half Cambridge are working with a business based in Welwyn Garden City who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for the day to day management of company finances, timely and accurate management reporting and the management of finance department staff.
This role is paying a salary of £47,000 - £55,000, depending on experience. The role is based in the office 5 days a week, with flexible working offered when required.
Responsibilities:
1. Accurate monthly production of Management Accounts for 3 entities
2. Ensure all statutory records and payments are up to date
3. Manage month end process to include journals, prepayments, accruals, commission calculations; cashbook, fixed asset register and stock and corporation tax
4. Clear and effective communication between internal and external stakeholders
5. Monthly payroll calculations and entry for UK.
6. People management of two members of staff
Skills and qualifications:
7. ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level
8. Previous experience of managing a team
9. Able to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently
10. Good communication skills.
