Setup: Hybrid
Salary: Up to £45k with Car and Package

This national building contractor who work on a variety of construction and refit projects across the South East. They are in the process of growing a regional team to meet the demands of the project. Typical projects around £10m+ in value.
The Job:
This exciting Assistant Quantity Surveyor is a great opportunity to prepare yourself for a Quantity Surveying position with great room for development and guidance from established professionals.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.
2. Collaborate with the Quantity Surveying team to review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential cost implications.
3. Assist in the valuation of work completed, managing payment applications, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
4. Support in the negotiation and settlement of variations, claims, and disputes, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
5. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve any cost-related queries.
6. Assist in contract administration tasks, including contract drafting, review, and management.
7. Weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting through to the final account all under the supervision of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
