Manage/ complete all proactive Planned Preventative Maintenance and Routine Maintenance tasks in accordance with their designated frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc), as per the Maintenance Schedule and ensure all reports/checklists are completed, reviewed and all required actions reported to Facilities Site Manager Undertake Property inspections in conjunction with the Retail Facilities And Maintenance Manager, identifying any issues, repairs or advisory works or recommendations for the general upkeep of the property. Advise on the necessity of bringing in outside contractors and to supervise their work as far as appropriate, completing all necessary paperwork/checks on arrival on site prior to the commencement of their work. Research replacement parts required to resolve plant/equipment faults, place order for parts with Facilities Site Manager, travel to supplier stores to collect items as necessary/ requested. Assist Retail Managers with fire emergencies and evacuation procedures, testing and setting of smoke/heat detectors/ Emergency lighting/fire extinguishers as required by legislation and record in fire log book. In conjunction with the Retail Facilities And Maintenance Manager conduct fire safety and H&S checks and audits for each shop. Act as nominated Fire Officer and undertake fire safety responsibilities as detailed in the operational policies and procedures manuals.
