We have an incredible opportunity for a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice in the stunning county of Cumbria. Our client takes great pride in their independent status and is RCVS accredited by the Royal College Practice Standards Scheme. Our client is well-equipped for both small and large animal care, boasting facilities such as Easiscan with high-definition BUGs and remote screen, tup and bull fertility testing equipment, bronchoscope and rhinoscope, air plasma cautery and cutting, digital x-ray with bucky table, and a fantastic ultrasound with all necessary probes. With stunning views and the potential for new purpose-built facilities, this is an exciting time to join the team.
As a truly mixed 4-vet practice, our client is deeply embedded in the local community. The workload is balanced with 50% large animals (dairy, beef, and sheep), 45% small animals, and 5% equine (primarily horses belonging to the farmers they serve). They are seeking a vet with some experience to join their team. The Rota:
• Full time - 4/5 working day week
• 1:4 OOH rota which includes Saturday consults between 8.30am to 1.30pm
• One night on-call during the week
