We have a position for an Office Administrator in our Portree Office - 25-30 hours - office based
The Role
* Hold responsibility for all areas of administering an efficient planned delivery service for the area.
* Process all web, telephone orders and email enquires correctly and promptly in line with company policies/standards
* Liaise with Line Manager providing documentation and back office support for ‘key accounts’ · Any other duty as required by the depot, which would include, after reasonable training, holiday/ sickness relief for Depot Supervisor.
* Create and run reports as and when required · Where gaps in knowledge exist / are identified, seek out sources of information that will bridge this.
* Lead by example, ensuring customer needs are identified
* Ensure that the customer requirements are met in a courteous, professional manner at all times
* Log and provide an effective response and resolution to customer enquiries and requests for information; these may include - but are not limited to - the following: - product availability, delivery date and time availability, order and delivery status, product and technical information.
The Candidate:
* Strong negotiation skills
* Confidence in own ability
* High degree of self-motivation
* Resilient, persistent and tenacious
* Can handle objection well
* Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise
* Good Maths and English a requirement
* Understanding of IT systems such as Word, Excel etc would be advantageous.
