Job Title: Energy & Sustainability Specialist

Salary: £54,793
What you’ll be doing:
* Develop and implement comprehensive energy management strategies
* Lead and mentor a team of energy and environmental experts
* Monitor and analyse energy consumption and identify and execute energy-saving projects
* Ensure compliance with energy regulations and standards
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices
* Report on energy performance and progress towards Net Zero goals
* Drive employee engagement programs on energy conservation
Your skills and experiences:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or suitable related field
* Extensive experience in energy management, preferably in manufacturing
* Experience of people management
* Strong knowledge of energy systems, renewable technologies, and sustainability practices
* Proven track record in leading successful energy reduction projects
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
* Familiarity with energy management software and data analysis tools

Facilities Engineering and Sustainability Team:
As an Energy & Environmental Specialist, you will lead our energy management team in driving sustainable initiatives, optimizing energy efficiency, and significantly reducing our carbon footprint while fostering a culture of environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
