We are recruiting for a dedicated Teacher to join our Alternative Provision (AP) school in New Milton, where we support students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) who thrive in a tailored, supportive learning environment.
About the Role:
As a Teacher in our Alternative Provision, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire and support the unique needs of each pupil. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team to create individualised learning plans that help each student achieve their fullest potential in both academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with EHCPs.
* Use a range of teaching methods and resources to connect with students who may face barriers in traditional educational settings.
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and encouraging classroom environment.
* Track and monitor pupil progress, adapting learning approaches as needed.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and support teams to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil’s development.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in an Alternative Provision or SEN setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate students.
* Resilience, patience, and creativity in supporting students with diverse needs.
* Must hold a valid driving license and have access to reliable transport.
