Our Client is an International Freight Forwarding company providing logistical needs from 3PL to sea, road and air freight. Due to increased global growth, they are looking to add a Freight Road Customer Service Agent to their team in Essex.
The role of Road Freight Customer Service Agent will:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on a daily basis
2. Manage orders by entering data into the CARGOLINK system, ensuring accuracy
3. Coordinate collections with the UK distribution department and International Export Planners
4. Direct the Customs team to issue export declarations
5. Perform various administrative tasks, including handling queries and POD requests
6. Provide customers with delivery status updates upon request
7. Communicate with DSV offices throughout Europe
Requirements for the role of Road Freight Customer Service Agent:
8. Demonstrated experience in Customer Service
9. General knowledge of transport (preferred but not required)
10. Excellent client-facing and communication skills
11. Efficiency and attention to detail
12. Strong administrative abilities

The successful Road Freight Customer Service Agent will be offered a salary up to £26,000 in line with skills and experience, plus benefits package.
