key responsibilities
* Hands on delivery of software working as part of cross functional development team. Advocate for and implement improvements in working practices.
* Be continually aware of emerging market trends and propose and implement new technologies and industry standard techniques which enhance Open GI’s market position and technical estate.
* Work as part of a collaborative, customer focussed and industry leading Development function.
* Collaborate with internal and external customers to provide a leading software development service.
* Engage with customers in Technical Requirements Workshops, daily stand-ups, bi-weekly demos and customer handovers.
* Act as a key Delivery team member, proactively picking up tasks to get things to done.
* Deliver new customer requirements as quickly, reliably, and efficiently as possible.
* Contribute to a continually improving Agile software development framework.
* Liaise with Business Analysts, Developers and QA’s, establishing and implementing requirements and/or the resolution of live operational issues.

* ·An understanding of programming using principles and adaptability to use proprietary in-house technologies
