Your New Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Vendor Manager to join our Amey Group IT function. This is a full-time role with hybrid working, based at home with travel to corporate or supplier’s offices once or twice a week.
The IT Vendor Manager will be tasked to augment the ITVM team, supporting the Senior IT Vendor Manager and the broader IT Function on a range of contract lifecycle related tasks, key supplier, stakeholder engagement and associated administrative tasks.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week based on Monday – Friday.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing supplier evaluation, selection, commercial negotiations and on-boarding
* Strategic Supplier Relationship and Performance Management through informal contact and regular formal meetings
* Business Stakeholder engagement and support
* Managing document collaboration and storage
* Supporting internal processes such as purchase orders / invoice payments / queries
We want to hear from you if you have:
* A proven track record of delivering great vendor relationships, as well as reporting and communicating internally to senior stakeholders
* Knowledge / experience of IT suppliers and digital / technology products and services
* Ability to interpret legal clauses in contracts for IT related products and services
* Ability to produce a high standard of documentation / content for Executive level colleagues
* Expertise in data analytics that enable you to create meaningful insights
* Experience with SharePoint 365 and Microsoft Teams for document management and collaboration
* Experience of Microsoft Co-Pilot preferable but not essential
