The Outpatient Service Team is a hard-working team who are highly motivated and effective. Main Duties of the Job
This role involves registering GP referrals as they come in, booking the first appointment with the patient, and speaking to patients with a positive, friendly, helpful attitude to ensure an excellent patient experience when they attend their hospital outpatient appointment.
Recording accurate and timely data is vital for this role and will support the delivery of national and Trust targets, ensuring appropriate remuneration for work undertaken in the Outpatient Department. Answering calls in a timely manner while remaining professional and supportive to the nature of the call is essential. This could include cancelling or rescheduling appointments. The post holder will be required to work across various IT systems to complete tasks.
