5. Salary: Quantity Surveyor £60,000 - £ £65,000 / Senior Quantity Surveyor £70,000 - £80,000 plus car allowance and competitive package (salary dependant upon experience)

The company:
A multi-disciplinary principal contractor specialising in delivering new build and refurbishment projects across the private and public sector. Typical projects range from £5-12 million in value across the South East and include commercial, student accommodation, industrial, education and healthcare.
The role:
Due to an ongoing increase workflow across Kent the need has arisen to recruit a Quantity Surveyor (open to all levels) to join their experienced team. The Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of new build and refurbishment projects across the South East. Key responsibilities will include:
7. Head up project commercial functions for 1-2 projects (dependent upon scheme sizes).
8. Working alongside the project delivery team to ensure contractual control and cost management throughout the lifecycle from design to client final account.
9. Managing the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account agreement.
10. Monitor cash flows and monthly CVRs
11. Client interface.
About you:
This role is perfect for you if:
12. Experience: You have previous experience in the same or a similar position and a proven track record of delivering new build projects in excess of £5 million in value.
13. Technical skills: You are proficient in Microsoft Office software packages.
14. Qualifications: HNC or above in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline.
15. Problem solving: Able to identify and mitigate risks.
