HR Business Partner - Transportation (Rail)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join Egis, a global consulting and engineering firm specializing in construction, transport, and mobility services. This full-time role is based in London, with regular travel across the UK.

Role Overview: As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with business managers to align HR strategies with organizational goals, manage employee relations, and support talent development throughout the employee lifecycle. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing HR policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment.
* Understand business needs and communicate HR policies effectively.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence HR initiatives.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, translating them into strategic actions.
* Support workforce planning, performance management, well-being, and engagement initiatives.
* Identify training needs and support HR training delivery.
* Coach managers on people management skills.
* Manage overseas immigration and sponsorship processes.
* Assist with remuneration policies and utilize HR data analytics for insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; CIPD Level 5 or higher preferred.
* Proven HR experience in a matrix environment, with strong employee relations expertise.
* Excellent understanding of employment law and HR data analysis.
* Effective communicator with stakeholder management skills.
* Experience managing multiple locations and a generalist HR background.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
