A full-time Hotel/Bar Manager is required for our busy Bar and Restaurant with 13 rooms accommodation. With an operational hands-on approach, a drive for achieving high levels of quality guest service, and a strong leader of the people! Job Responsibilities:
1. Directing and overseeing reservations, reception, room service, and housekeeping activities.
2. Supervising security arrangements, garden, and property maintenance.
3. Observing liquor, gaming, TAB, and other laws and regulations.
4. Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction.
5. Overseeing accounting and purchasing activities.
6. Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
7. Providing guests with local tourism information and arranging tours and transportation.
8. Advising, selecting, and preparing new menus based on the needs and wants of the clients.
9. Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.
10. Regular meetings with the owner of the company.
11. Ensuring that the correct stock levels and service standards are in place to achieve estimated sales.
12. Estimating food and labor costs and ordering food supplies.
13. Discussing food preparation issues with the manager, kitchen, and waiting staff.
14. Following standard opening and closing procedures.
15. Offering any additional service required.
Due to accommodation regulations, the manager should be on the premises, so we prefer the manager to stay at our accommodation for free.
Accomplished and competent in all aspects of hospitality, the successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry and proven management experience.
