About the right team member This role works in the Pricing & Strategy team at Mindbody, which focuses on maximizing the enterprise value of our customers and the business as a whole. We do this through rationalizing packaging, optimizing the Mindbody Marketplace, and exploring new cross-promotional synergies between Mindbody and Classpass. This role balances the qualitative with quantitative, creates dashboards to evangelize insights, and works cross-functionally to empower stakeholders with data. Successful candidates will possess an intense curiosity about data patterns and how the best way to leverage insights. They should be able to distill complex ideas to stakeholders of all levels of technical fluency. Business Analytics empowers our internal teams with data. They build dashboards, generate insights, and conduct ad hoc analyses to optimize the performance of ClassPass and Mindbody customers. About the role Conduct and present causal inference, unit-economic, and audience segment analyses with a clear intention to affect change within the company Create functional dashboards to communicate micro and macro-level trends in the Wellness space Design experiments to guide pricing and packaging recommendations Develop SQL models used to report on data across production, business, and 3 rd party systems Collaborate cross-functionally within initiatives to drive strategy around learnings and insights Build out new data models with accuracy, scalability, and interpretability in mind Skills & experience Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 3 Years in business analytics or business intelligence Strong business acumen Experience with stakeholders, decision-makers, and/or clients Strong communication skills in speech and writing Proficiency with A/B testing Proficiency in SQL Deep sense of intellectual curiosity Knowledge and/or experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker preferred) Ability to work independently
