This is a temporary, six-month self-employed role of 8 hours per week at £14 per hour. Occasionally it may be 10hrs a week to cater for longer meetings etc.
This is a home-based role, although occasional in-person meetings will be required. You will also need to be able to drive, as some tasks involve travelling to multiple class locations to put up posters and signage. Additionally, you should be digitally literate and comfortable using social media, project management, and scheduling tools.
I am happy for this work to be completed over two agreed-upon half days per week.
It would also make sense for us to have a fixed weekly meeting or call.
I plan to send you weekly tasks using Trello; I would expect these tasks to be updated with your progression. This will also be discussed during our weekly calls.
I will always be available to take calls or messages if you have any questions.
Your time will be split between administrative work, community outreach, and general ad hoc tasks.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of potential tasks over the next six months:
* Contacting local community groups to promote the classes
* Spreading awareness of the referral scheme to health professionals
* Reaching out to local newspapers and radio stations for free press (e.g., Oxford Mail)
* Posting on social media platforms such as Facebook and Nextdoor
* Creating and scheduling social media posts
* Printing and laminating posters
* Putting up posters
* Updating the email list
* Asking members to provide testimonials
* Responding to emails and phone calls
