If so, Alexander Hosea Primary School is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to work with a SEN child in EYFS. The hours for this post are 20 per week, term time only. These hours will be Monday -Friday 3 hours a day (9am-12pm) plus Monday-Friday lunchtimes (12-1pm).
The successful candidate will require a good standard of general education. Knowledge and experience of working with SEND children in a primary setting is essential.

Qualifications A good standard of general education.
3 or more GCSEs (including Mathematics and
English) or other equivalents.
Teaching assistant qualification at Level 3 or higher.
Work related experience and associated vocational training Previous experience of working with children in EYFS or Ks1 (including those with special educational needs).
Experience of successfully supporting children with SEN.
Willingness to engage in further training. Recent experience in supporting children with SEN needs.
Experience of working with SEN children in EYFS (including making observations for learning journals).
Experience of working with children with developmental trauma and /or SEMH needs.
Personal and professional Qualities High expectations for all children (including those with SEND).
Ability to work co-operatively and flexibly in a rapidly changing work environment.
Ability to take direction and maintain the high expectations of the class teacher. Have confidence to lead impactful interventions, as deployed by teacher.
