Job Title: General Radiographer Band: 6 Location: St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex Start: ASAP Rate: £26.00 p/h Working hours: 09:00am – 17:00pm We are seeking a Band 6 General Radiographer to join our client's team in St. Leonards-on-Sea. This position offers an immediate start and will run until the end of February, providing flexible adhoc shifts. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will perform high-quality radiographic imaging across various modalities, including CT, MRI, and plain film, adhering to departmental protocols and maintaining professional standards. You will support the Radiology team by assisting in training junior staff and students, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and participating in out-of-hours and emergency cover. Additionally, you will be involved in quality assurance, maintaining up-to-date CPD portfolios, and complying with health and safety regulations to deliver efficient and effective imaging services. Qualifications and Experience: · HCPC registration. · Approved Degree or Master's in Diagnostic Radiography. · At least 24 months of post-qualification experience as a Band 5 Radiographer. · Experience in various imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and plain film is often required. · Involvement in quality assurance processes and maintaining an up-to-date CPD portfolio is essential.
