Great People Work Here
Do you seek a role that provides a wide array of opportunities, in a culture that respects diversity and promotes collaboration, prioritizing the well-being of employees and inspiring new ideas? Do you want the freedom to explore, and the opportunities to find new ways and to innovate? If so, TwiningsOvo delivers.
We’re recruiting for a brand new role - Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Analyst. You’ll play a pivotal role in building out and bridging our global, multi-country sustainability objectives with data and technology, acting as a trusted advisor to both ESG and functional business teams across TwiningsOvo.
Combining comprehensive ESG knowledge with data platform know-how, you will help build, shape and operationalise our ESG strategy through high-quality data, reporting, and platform ownership. You’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle of ESG data and reporting – from discovery and metric definition to platform enablement and regulatory compliance. Working closely with TwiningsOvo teams and third-party providers, you will also ensure ESG data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business and legal expectations - enabling better decision-making and disclosure across the organisation.
The role will be based in the UK and may require occasional international travel to other TwiningsOvo offices, including Switzerland, India, Argentina, Kenya, Thailand, and other markets as needed to support local ESG use cases, reporting needs, or platform rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish a comprehensive understanding of TwiningOvaltine’s business and its ESG strategy to support its evolution and alignment with broader corporate objectives, regulations and industry best practices, with horizon scanning a key focus.
* Translate ESG goals into tangible data and reporting requirements for the platform and other reporting tools.
* Identify and prioritise ESG data use cases across business functions (e.g. SI+S supply chain, operations, finance, compliance, communications).
Platform Ownership & Enablement
* Support the creation and manage the ESG data platform(s) once established – working closely with BizTech and data teams to ensure continuous evolution, efficiency and stability.
* Ensure the ESG platform enables self-service reporting and dashboards that meet the needs of various teams.
* Act as the central point of contact for ESG data requests, changes, and enhancements.
* Oversee platform performance, data availability, user access, and support documentation.
* Create one source of consistent ‘truth’ for ESG data.
Data & Reporting Stewardship
* Lead ESG data discovery and mapping activities; assess and analyse data for quality and consistency, ability to identify and address data gaps.
* Comprehensive understanding of salient risks across agricultural values chains, to help inform, define and maintain ESG metrics, aligned with industry and civil society standards (SBTI, EUDR, CSRD, CSDDD and HR global indexes etc.).
* Work in partnership with Finance, Sustainability Communications and Reporting Manager to ensure that data provided and associated narrative in ESG reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with internal and external requirements.
* Support the generation of data for ESG reports for executive leadership, SI+S, stakeholders, ABF and external regulators, linked to commercial and operational elements as required.
* Alongside Finance, own compliance with legal and regulatory ESG disclosures and ensure the platform reflects the latest requirements.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We’re looking for people who don’t just come here to meet expectations, but who demonstrate a keen interest in the brand and a commitment to doing the best job they can. In return, we offer an inspiring package of employee benefits - to show just how much we value you. This role will offer you the scope for growth and the tools to aim high. We’re also looking for:
* Demonstrated experience (5+ years) ESG, sustainability reporting, or data analytics with a strong understanding of ESG frameworks, covering both social and environmental (e.g. CSRD, CSDDD, CDP, HREDD etc).
* Experience managing or acting as a business owner of data platforms or reporting tools.
* Solid understanding of data governance, data modelling, and stakeholder needs related to ESG.
* Comprehensive grasp of regulatory and legal requirements related to ESG disclosures and corporate reporting.
* Analytical mindset with ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical outcomes.
* Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and modern data stacks (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – both technical and business-facing.
