Trainee Service Engineer
Job Description:
As a Trainee Service Engineer, you will provide support to engineers who are servicing and repairing automatic doors at retail establishments. You will be responsible for regional servicing and maintenance support services to customers in various settings. This includes technical support with entry systems and automated doors, as well as general customer service. Candidates should be professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities. This position will also require the ability to manage customer requests in a timely and effective manner.
Job Requirements:
1. Must have a valid driver’s license
2. Must have some engineering experience
3. Must have experience with related equipment
4. Must possess strong organizational skills, good time management skills, and basic data entry skills
5. Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ongoing support and technical assistance over the phone and on-site for technicians.
2. Participate in the engineer induction program.
3. Field management support.
4. Support to the Technical Training Manager when required.
5. Be available to work outside normal working hours when required.
PPM is scheduled for you, so your days will be structured. This role offers a good career route to management and senior engineer positions. You will be provided with a vehicle, fuel card, tools, laptop, phone, and uniform. A pension scheme and additional benefits are included, along with great rates of pay.
Compensation:
OTE of £35-40k with overtime and travel time. Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year.
