The Sales Trainer’s purpose is to support the Sales teams with all sales development and execution efforts. The Sales Trainer will help onboard new hires for Sales teams and be responsible for the continued education to help the sales teams achieve targets and initiatives. The Trainer will create learning content and programs specific to sales and technology acumen, internal systems and tools, and professional development. The Trainer will provide continual feedback to Sales leadership to identify how to help the Sales teams improve performance to achieve sales targets. This position is required to report to either the Milton Keynes office location, as determined by SHI management. Assist with communication to Sales around the training schedule and help with calendar invitations for live trainings as needed. Facilitate learning by incorporating a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate learning styles, such as classroom instruction, virtual, and blended learning. Organize and maintain sales enablement content in platforms such as SHI Learn, MSFT Teams, and any other internal SharePoint sites. Support virtual training technologies and gamification by including Q&A and participation with tracking and reporting. Identify ways to enhance learning effectiveness and modify learning content and delivery to continually improve the sales user training experience. Conduct knowledge assessments and learning surveys for Sales teams. Provide continual feedback to Sales leaders to identify how to help the Sales teams improve performance to achieve sales targets. Build and maintain key relationships with sales leaders, technical resources, and strategic vendor partners. Completed Bachelor’s Degree 5 years of experience in a Sales role, L&D role, Sales Enablement role, or a combination Excellent facilitation, presentation skills, in a variety of group sizes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Exceptional listening skills Proficiency in communicating the company’s value proposition and Sales Methodology Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally Ability to distill large amounts of information into concise, relevant components Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to self-identify areas of improvement, and owning content creation/evolution Ability to develop relationships with guest speakers Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing business environment Proven initiative and positive attitude; team-oriented, motivated, and highly enthusiastic Report to Milton Keynes, UK May travel to approved conferences or Field Sales Offices as needed, up to 10% Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
