Business Development Manager Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of an Identity & Access Management company that specialises in delivering Identity Management, Identity Governance & Access Management solutions whether on-premises or in the Cloud. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding business opportunities related to the solution portfolio. Responsibilities: Develop and execute business strategies to drive the adoption and sales of products and services. Identify new market opportunities and customer segments. Align offerings with customer needs across all industries with particular focus on finance, healthcare, government, and manufacturing. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Understand customer requirements and translate them into business opportunities. Work closely with sales teams, technical experts, and product managers to tailor solutions that meet client and market needs. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in identity management and cybersecurity. Conduct competitive analysis to understand position in the market and identify potential areas for differentiation. Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations. Support sales efforts by providing expertise and guiding clients through the product selection and implementation process. Identify and establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, systems integrators, and other partners. Leverage global network to expand reach and create new revenue channels. Provide regular updates to senior management on the performance of business development activities. Manage and track sales pipelines, customer engagements, and deal progress. Set and drive achievement of quarterly sales targets. Mentor and foster excellence in the sales team. Any other duties role may involve. Person Specification: 5 years experience in a sales, business development, or commercial leadership role, ideally within the software or technology sector. Demonstrated experience in driving growth, closing deals, and expanding market presence. Excellent negotiation skills. Self motivated and exercise a proactive approach, with the ability to work on your own initiative. Confident and able to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels in different sectors. Experience of selling into a highly regulated environment (financial services, government, pharma etc.) would be advantageous.
