Description The ReEntry Program is a 15-week fellowship program, beginning March 18, 2024 and ending June 30, 2024, with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JP Morgan Chase at the end of the program. The program offers a reintroduction to corporate life for those returning to the workplace after two or more years of voluntarily being away. Business Management optimizes business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. The team acts as trusted advisors to the business, and they are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. As a successful candidate, you will be based in London working with Front Office, Finance, Middle Office, Risk functions and other critical areas to support the business as we upgrade processes, technology systems and regional coverage whilst adapting to the changing regulatory environment. Finance and controller experience, demonstrating importance of ledger integrity, discipline, and timeliness, is a critical skillset for this role. Responsibilities: Management reporting - general MIS scorecards, project and business performance analysis Preparation of presentations for regulators, internal governance forums, town halls, offsites Support of Continental European Front Office requirements Support in maintenance of Front Office procedures Support Front Office registration and licensing actions Support TPO (Third Party Oversight) and outsourcing process for TCIO Support TCIO Front Office technology agenda Market data costs monitoring Support of Line of Business (LOB) New Business Initiative Assessments (NBIAs) and due diligence processes for Treasury funding including ownership of EMEA Treasury & Chief Investment Office (TCIO) driven NBIA’s Support TCIO new business initiatives, including development and analysis Assist in analysis, implementation and coordination of TCIO projects, such as Treasury function implementations in UAE, Nigeria, etc Coordination of activities between Front Office, Middle Office, Liquidity, Operations and Cash Management Focal point for different Line of business Who we look for: Solid understanding of financial accounting and finance Good knowledge of financial markets and instruments such as securities, money markets, IRS, FX and payments Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner Display strong stakeholder management - should be able to communicate and liaise with all levels of management and across functions Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and deliverables and meeting recurring deadlines High motivation and ability to quickly climb a steep learning curve Ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel Strong project mindset - able to identify solutions and execute to conclusion with thoughtful analytical skills Background of working within a product or business management background beneficial Good level of understanding of core bank technology useful Diversity and Inclusion at JPM A culture of inclusion is critical to JP Morgan’s success.
