To be considered for this position, you must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
2. Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
3. Contribute to care planning and coach support workers.
4. Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents, and enquiries.
5. Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation.
6. Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
7. Be responsible for administering medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience of working in a care setting.
2. A good team player.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills.
4. Have a genuine desire to care for others.
The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP 13.50 per hour, with an annual salary of GBP 25,272 per annum.
