This role will report to the Associate Director of Global Citizenship, based in London, providing organizational and programmatic support globally for our Global Citizenship Committee, particularly our Volunteering and Charitable Giving Subcommittee, and delivering volunteering and charitable giving events in London.
The person will work with and support the wider Global Citizenship team, including the Global Citizenship Chair, Director of Global Citizenship, and other relevant partners, lawyers, and business services professionals to develop, manage, and communicate our Global Citizenship initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteering and charitable giving:
Global and Regional
* Support the Volunteering and Charitable Giving Subcommittee and promote its annual objectives.
* Guide and support our EMEA Global Citizenship Office Champions on local volunteering and fundraising initiatives.
* Assist with global internal communications campaigns, such as Global Green Week and Global Volunteering Week.
* Support global fundraising efforts, including pre-event fundraising and onsite activities for initiatives like the White & Case World Cup.
London
* Coordinate the London office volunteering programs, including work experience with PRIME and the Social Mobility Foundation, Chapter One reading scheme, and ZSL London Zoo volunteering, involving volunteer recruitment, event setup, and communication.
* Support the office’s Chosen Charity initiative and organize fundraising, volunteering, and profile-raising events, such as the annual charity quiz and fundraising challenges.
Legal Education
* Support the Firm's sponsorship of the UK finals of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
* Prepare contents for London’s weekly internal newsletter and produce agendas and minutes for relevant committees.
* Assist with delivering Global Citizenship presentations to new joiners and support budget management.
* Manage room bookings for events and charity clients, including guest lists, setup, and catering.
Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in CSR or Responsible Business roles, such as at law firms, corporations, or related business services, with a Bachelor’s degree.
* Experience in coordinating corporate, fundraising, or volunteering events and supporting committees.
* Strong project, time management, and organizational skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, including drafting recruitment communications.
* Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Location and Reporting
This full-time, permanent role is based in London, reporting to the Associate Director of Global Citizenship. Standard hours are 09:30-18:00, with a requirement for 3 days in-office per week.
