Job summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiasticSpeech and Language Therapistto join our adult community team on afixed-term basisto cover maternity leave. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to develop your skills working with adults with acquired communication and/or swallowing difficulties. Youll provide therapy in a range of settings including patient homes, care homes, and intermediate care wards. You will be supported throughregular supervision, CPD opportunities, and be part of a team committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care across a range of adult acquired conditions, includingstroke and long-term conditions. Main duties of the job Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for adults with acquired communication and/or swallowing difficulties Work across community and inpatient intermediate care settings Manage a caseload under the guidance of senior SLTs, with opportunities to grow clinical autonomy Contribute to service development and ongoing improvement Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, person-centred care Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards in line with HCPC and RCSLT requirements About us About the Company We change lives by transforming health and care.
