All BMS companies are basically the same, aren’t they?
Not all – a few actually have a unique product offering – and this is one of them. The company has developed a proprietary system to manage data-centre power and infrastructure requirements in one single platform.
What is more, they actually have a comprehensive training programme where every engineer undertakes training for industry recognised certifications and will shadow senior engineers before being let loose on their own.
Whilst background knowledge in BMS systems is required, they aren’t particularly bothered whether you’re an expert in any particular system. You’ll be given extensive training in the company’s own power management and building management systems integration tools.
Of course, you’ll have to be prepared to study and get your head around some new complex systems. With the right attitude (and support from an experienced team) you’ll figure it out, and before long you’ll be designing and commissioning these systems with customers across the Southeast. Whilst some work can be done from home, you’ll have to travel regularly so you’ll need a license.
