The Third-Party Risk Manager role sits within the Procurement Centre of Excellence team. Bringing together end to end risk activity across Procurement. Third-Party risk management at Bupa focuses on identifying and reducing risks relating to the use of third parties (suppliers). The Third-Party Risk Manager will manage and support the monitoring and management of third-party risk on behalf of the business and driving compliance with the Procurement policies, standards, and processes.
You'll help us make health happen through:
1. Lead the development of Procurement's risk management strategy and internal controls framework within a third party risk management setting.
2. Ensuring compliance with the Procurement Policy and the Suppliers Outsourcing Policy in relation to Third Party Risk Management.
3. Understand and respond to changes required of a firm regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority and Central Bank of Ireland.
4. Understand wider regulatory requirements e.g. from the CQC, ICO or HSE.
5. Own the Third Party Risk Management controls for the Procurement function and relating to third party risk landscape acting as a single point of expertise.
Key Skills needed for this role:
1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. A proven Third-Party Risk Management background, with experience in working with supplier assurance and risk management frameworks.
3. Demonstrate comprehension of the requirements set out in the FCA (SYSC 8/13) and PRA handbook.
4. Knowledge of supply chain processes and the tools and techniques used to improve them.
5. A background in Procurement is desirable.
