The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following duties, along with other general office administration, as required.
1. Rent collection, rent chasing and inputting on spreadsheet.
2. Liaising with Tenants on maintenance issues and resolving the problems/concerns satisfactorily.
3. Co-ordinate records of maintenance history for day-to-day and cyclical maintenance jobs.
4. Obtaining Gas Certificates and Electrical Certificates and keeping all Certificates up-to-date.
5. Assist with overseeing end of Tenancies, sourcing new Tenants, when applicable, and liaising with Letting Agents re new Tenants.
6. Property inspections – involving travel, if requested.
7. In conjunction with colleagues, ensure that access is afforded to properties as required for readings of public utility meters, inspections by Landlords, etc.
8. Receive out of hours calls from Tenants on a rota basis. This duty to be shared with other staff members.
9. General administrative duties.
Skills required:
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Computer literacy to include Excel, Word, Outlook and Office 365
3. Good administrative and organisational skills
4. Basic accounts experience/numeracy
5. Ability to self- manage completing work demands
6. The ability to meet UK ‘right to work’ requirements
7. Working knowledge of health & safety desirable
8. Experience within the property sector preferred (Lettings)
9. Clean Driving Licence
Job Location
Your normal place of work will be in Hall Green, Birmingham.
However, you may be required to work from any other place of work, if requested to do so.
Hours of work
Office hours of work:
0900 hours – 1700 hours (negotiable)
Monday to Friday (5 days pw)
Would consider part-time for the right applicant
