About the Office Receptionist Role
My client is a dynamic European company with their European HQ in Luton. They are seeking a professional, well-presented, and friendly temporary receptionist to meet and greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and undertake administrative duties.
Location: Luton, Beds
Duration: Start ASAP until 3rd May to cover holiday
Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9am - 4.30pm (Fri) (36.5 hours/week)
Salary: £12.50 per hour

Role Responsibilities
* Represent the company professionally as the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
* Greet and sign in visitors following health and safety protocols.
* Answer and transfer incoming calls accurately, taking detailed messages.
* Manage postal duties: collect, open, distribute incoming post, and handle outgoing mail.
* Support general administrative tasks using Word and Excel; accurate keyboard/data entry skills are essential.
* Interact confidently with all levels of staff, including the CEO.
* Use initiative to identify additional tasks during quieter periods and assist team members with ad hoc duties.
* Book hotels, flights, taxis, and maintain detailed records for smooth transactions.
