We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Repair Assessor for our Cosmetic, Tyre and Alloy products.
Job Purpose:
The Maintenance Repair Assessor is responsible for evaluating Cosmetic, Tyre and Alloy repair submissions from our approved repair network and managing the associated administrative tasks through various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and approve repairs in line with policy terms and conditions.
* Utilise technical vehicle knowledge and experience to validate repairs.
* Authorise, amend, or reject repairs based on product guidelines.
* Provide remote technical support to plan holders and the approved repair network.
* Ensure correct repair submissions and adherence to cosmetic, tyre and alloy procedures.
* Conduct thorough diagnostics and quality control on all repair requests.
* Enter required data into an online application (training provided).
* Gather all relevant information and document reasons for approvals, modifications, or rejections.
* Manage and review the necessary documentation to support repairs.
* Address and resolve enquiries from plan holders and the approved repair network.
* Communicate with all relevant parties to highlight areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with approved repair network personnel, policy holders, and independent assessors.
What You’ll Need:
* Experience in a similar role or as a vehicle technician, mechanic, or workshop controller.
* Proven automotive warranty and technical expertise.
* High level of customer service experience.
* Self-motivated, flexible, and reliable.

* Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a professional approach.
* Produces high-quality work.

* Salary: £28,000-£30,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience) plus up to £2400 commission per annum
* 1 in 4 Saturdays, paid overtime at time and half (9am – 1pm)
