Introduction to team
Our Corporate Functions support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability.
In this global HR business partner leadership role, you will support our Expedia Travel Partnerships & Media & Private Label Solutions divisions as the global, strategic people business partner for these two Travel Leadership Team members (CEO-directs).
In this role, you will:
* Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with global business leaders to define the overall People strategy, anticipating long-term HR needs and translating business plans into HR program objectives.
* Organisational Evolution: Assess Organisational Design and Organisational Health by metrics and overall people strategy.
* Leadership Coaching: Focus on enterprise leadership development and execution with a view on scaling.
* Strategic Integration: Collaborate across the People team to set and execute the People priority initiatives for Expedia Group.
* Business Partnership: Build a seamless partnership with our divisional global leadership teams as a trusted advisor.
* Talent Agenda: Partner with the global People team to define the approach for team effectiveness, culture creation, talent identification, and succession planning.
* Organisation Culture: Embed Expedia Group Culture and Enterprise Leader behaviours across the business.
* Change Management & Organisation Effectiveness: Enable the organisation to thrive through periods of change.
Experience and qualifications:
* You are a true global HR and business thought leader with strong commercial experience.
* You can connect global business strategy to talent strategy and future talent needs.
* You have supported an organisation on a global scale across various business functions.
* You possess well-rounded HR experience as a strategic partner.
* You have experience leading multi-cultural HR teams.
* You have a flexible and adaptable style to successfully steer competing priorities.
* You are familiar with approaches needed to get things done in a collaborative, lean, and fast-paced environment.
* You leverage technology and change management to optimize efficiencies.
