Job summary Ipswich Community Nursing team are recruiting Band 4 Nursing Associates We are looking for a permanent part-time band 4 Nurse Associate within the Ipswich West Community IP2 Nursing Team. You will have experience of working in a nursing team and hold a band 4 nurse associate qualification and registration with the NMC. You will be passionate, committed, innovative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to delivering high quality care in a community setting. You will be supported by the Registered Nurses and Nurse Lead, whilst continuing to work within knowledgeable experienced team and wider MDT. Candidates should be flexible, motivated, and willing to work within a changing environment. You will be provided support through in-service training and professional forums, mandatory training, 1:1 and personal development meetings as well as clinical rolling skills training via the practice development facilitators. We facilitate students on training and have close working relationships with neighbouring community teams in Health and Social Care. We are ideally looking for an individual who is already completing or has already completed their Nurse Associate Course. Main duties of the job Your duties would include wound care, leg ulcer management, pressure area care, palliative care, venepuncture, catheter care, ordering equipment, involvement in link roles such as tissue viability, support of studentsand junior staff.
