Duties will include:
1. Sourcing, purchasing and managing inventory of products
2. Working closely with Directors and suppliers, ensuring products are purchased within budget and delivered on time
3. Responsible for sourcing a range of products within product strategy, coordinating product ranges
4. Product sourcing and selection, researching and identifying new suppliers and products
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, including negotiating terms
6. Inventory management, monitoring stock levels and ordering products in line with demand forecasts and sales trends
7. Order management and managing purchase orders, tracking order fulfilment, resolving issues
8. Market analysis, reporting and budget control
We are looking for individuals with:
1. Proven experience as a Buyer, with a passion for products and understanding of buying trends
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
4. Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
5. Excellent IT skills including MS Excel
6. A flexible attitude and an excellent team player
